My Deviantart Story

So I might be a little late to the bandwagon since dA celebrated its 14th birthday yesterday, but I'm going to do this 
Ever since I could wave the mouse pointer on the computer screen, I would Google image search pretty pictures. Some of those amazing pictures led to deviation pages on here. So a few years later when I remembered the name of this website, I joined around November 2009 as FallenUmbra. I was around 14 at the time. Don't ask why I got that username--it was somewhat random and I made my account for the hell of it xD I started as the usual n00b by posting pictures that I found on the internet and really bad photos that I had taken with a crappy camera. I deleted most of my old deviations, but older ones might be found somewhere deep in my gallery.
Within a couple months I discovered the dA community. Got involved in a couple groups that promote constructive criticism and positivity. I even made friends that I love and cherish
Seeing them get deviousness awards and senorities made me realize how there are good and kind people in this world, especially on the internet. During my early years on here I had a great time and talking in the forums and giving constructive criticism helped me overcome my shyness and opened me up to new forms of art.
Nowadays I'm a little bit busy to get involved in the community because I had to study before I graduated high school. Now I'm moving into a college for a six year pharmacy program
So I will not be as active as I used to be as college will come first to me. But every time I log on I see a lot of good things happening and I'm glad that some people are still devious 
So what's your dA story?

Illustrators and Beta Readers Wanted!

So me and Desinent-Riviera are working on writing a script for a sci-fi/fantasy graphic novel and we need an illustrator who is willing to sketch and/or ink and color pages of the comic. This is an unpaid position right now, but we do plan to publish it one day. We also need beta readers who can read parts of the script and give awesome, constructive feedback

Hey guys! Depending on where you live, I might be a little late to tell you this, but Happy New Year 2014!
I hope 2014 would bring a lot of good things for me. This year I'm graduating from high school and I got accepted into two of my top choice universities. I certainly hope now that I can move on to the next best things in life
