| 1. You hear music on the radio and you start marking time. 2. Being mauled by a drum is a normal part of life. 3. "Armed guard" means a girl with a pole, not a guy with a gun. 4. You remember sharps and flats more easily than you remember the name of the president. 5. You recite the alphabet A through G then start back at A again. 6. You don't describe people by going "She's got brown hair, dark eyes, kind of tall..", but go "She's an alto sax." 7. You always start off on the left foot. 8. You've never had to pay to get into a football/basketball game. 9. Normal people argue about the Vikings vs. the Packers, you argue about brass vs. woodwinds. 10. You don't take "double tounging" as a dirty joke. 11. A piccolo doesn't hurt your ears. 12. You've stood at attention for half an hour. 13. You go into a field and wonder why there are football players there. 14. You also tested to see if you can fit into a band locker. 15. You know what a piccolo trumpet is. 16. You actually practice. 17. The word "fluglehorn" doesn't send you into a fit of giggles. 18. The word "fingering" doesn't make you think gross thoughts. 19. You get extremely annoyed when you see a band walk in step and the drum taps go on the right foot. 20. When your uniform fits. 21. When marking time is your favorite form of exercise. 22. You have no secrets. 23. You go trick or treating in you band uniform and can think of something your uniform could be (Royal Guard Uniform, Police Man Uniform, ect..) 24. You can make white shoes look black. 25. Your instrument begins to grow hair. 26. You can march in 7/8 time and use it as a threat to other bands who can't do it. 27. Stand music is your enemy. 28. You use your saxaphone, tuba, any kind of instrument with a large horn to hold your stuff. 29. When you see the word 'Ace' and the first thing you think is A minor. Because I can  |
